Difference in the Jabra Engage 65/75 and New Model Jabra Engage 65/75 SE
Posted by Headset World USA on
At first glance, the SE versions of the Jabra Engage 65 and 75 look exactly the same. You get the same legendary performance, comfort, and styling, with one quietly powerful upgrade: USB-C connectivity.
Why does that matter? Because USB-C is the universal plug of the future. Faster charging, easier to connect (no more flipping the plug), and far more durable. And with most laptops, phones, and tablets already switched over, this change means your headset joins the USB-C new revolution.
The SE range swaps out the silver trim for a sleek titanium black finish. Not a game-changer, but it does look very sharp.
What's New with the SE Editions
- USB-C on both the headset and base unit (No Micro-USB!)
- Sleek titanium black accents instead of the original silver
- Updated SKUs and packaging
What's Stayed the Same
- Up to 13 hours talk time
- Up to 52 hours standby
- Same stellar sound quality and noise-cancelling mics
- DECT Level C security and AES 256-bit encryption
- Compatible with Microsoft Teams and other UC platforms
- Built-in busy light indicators
- Same buttons, same feel, same operation
Compatibility Warning
SE models are not compatible with first-edition base units or chargers. This is crucial. Mixing SE headsets with old bases (or vice versa) is like trying to fit a USB-C cable into a Micro-USB port, Not compatible.
So your older Jabra Engage 65/75 headsets have to stay with their base units, they will not work on the new updated Engage 65/75 SE base units.
